What we need from you
Four things, and none of them take long. Send them over at the start and your site goes live in a week rather than three.

Send us the actual URLs for every profile you want on the site. We wire them into the header, footer and contact page.

Your Google Business Profile
This has to be created and verified by you — Google posts a verification code to your address, so nobody else can do it on your behalf. We link it to the site and tell you exactly what to fill in.

Your social profiles
The site links out to your profiles, so they need to exist and look active before launch. An empty Instagram linked from your homepage does more harm than no link at all.

Social feeds on your pages
Once your profiles are live we can embed a feed directly into a page — recent Instagram posts, your Facebook page, or a Google reviews strip. It updates itself as you post.

Why it matters: Google ranks local businesses mostly on the Business Profile, reviews and whether your name, address and phone number match everywhere online. The website supports that; it does not replace it. We will write your keywords and descriptions properly, but a verified profile with twenty reviews will out-rank a perfect website with none.

Process
Four steps, about a week
You will spend roughly an hour on this in total. That is deliberate. You have a business to run.
STEP 01
Twenty minutes
A call or a long WhatsApp. What you do, who buys it, which towns you cover, and your social links.
STEP 02
First build
We write the copy, the keywords and the page descriptions, and build the whole thing. You see a working site, not a flat mock-up.
STEP 03
Your changes
Two rounds. Send them however you like, including as voice notes while you are driving.
STEP 04
Live
Domain pointed, SSL on, socials connected, tested on real phones. We hand over the files and the login.
Questions
The ones everybody asks
Why is it only £149 when agencies quote thousands?
Because we build one thing very efficiently. A five-page static site for a local business is a known quantity, so it does not need a discovery phase, a brand workshop or a project manager. If you need a booking system, a shop or ten thousand products, we are the wrong fit and we will say so on the first call.
Do you do SEO?
We do the on-page part, and it is included. Every page gets a title tag, a meta description and headings written around what people in your area search for — your trade plus your towns, your named services, the questions customers actually ask.
What we do not sell is ongoing SEO retainers. For a local business, ranking is driven mostly by your Google Business Profile, your review count and consistent details across directories. We will tell you exactly what to do there; you will get further doing it yourself than paying anyone a monthly fee.
Can you add my Instagram or Facebook feed to the site?
Yes. Send us the profile links and we can embed a live feed into any page, so it updates on its own every time you post. Google reviews can be shown the same way.
Your profiles need to be set up and have some posts on them first. A feed block showing three posts from 2023 looks worse than no feed at all.
Who sets up my Google Business Profile?
You do, and that is not us passing the work back. Google verifies the business by posting a code to your address or calling your number, so it genuinely cannot be done by a third party. We tell you what to fill in, then link it to the site once it is verified.
Do I need to buy a domain and hosting?
You need a domain either way, and it is best that you own it in your own name. Hosting is optional with us at £50 a year, or you can buy your own and we will set the site up on your account for free.
Does the site come with SSL?
Yes. SSL comes with the hosting rather than the domain, and it is included free on the hosting we use. Your site loads as https with the padlock, and the certificate renews itself.
Is it WordPress?
No, and that is the point. There are no plugins to update, no themes to break and nothing to get hacked. The trade-off is that you send us text changes rather than editing pages yourself. For most local businesses that is a change once or twice a year.
Are the sites in your portfolio real clients?
No. Every business shown above is fictional, built to demonstrate what we produce for each type of trade. We would rather tell you that up front than imply a client list we do not have yet.
